Chris Varelas, Global Head of Technology, Media and Telecom Investment Banking and Head of the National Investment Bank for Citigroup (the largest investment bank in the world) will discuss the many challenges facing today's largest corporations and how he and his team have successfully advised them to thrive in volatile markets.

The Occidental Business Associates (OBA) is the premier networking organization for Occidental College alumni in business, law and related public sector positions.
Mission: OBA creates an environment where alumni can get to know each other better and establish, broaden, and deepen mutually beneficial business relationships.
Each academic year, OBA presents a varied program of activities of interest to our members in the Los Angeles area, including weeknight mixer events focused on an industry theme with a featured speaker, Saturday Seminars offering a panel discussion and in-depth coverage of a relevant topic, and the annual Occidental Businessperson of the Year Award Dinner.
In addition to networking events, OBA also offers online services for its members. These include public web site listings and inclusion in the members only online directory.
